Correction: Denmark-Sri Lanka Blasts Narrative

At a story May 6 about a funeral in Denmark, The Associated Press reported that over 350 people were murdered in the Easter Sunday bombings. That was an estimate that is early but Sri Lanka has since lowered the death toll to over 250 on these bombings killed.

HELSINKI A funeral service has been held in Denmark for the 3 kids of a business tycoon who have been murdered during the Easter bombings in Sri Lanka.

Anders Holch Povlsen, the owner of the Bestseller clothes chain, comforted his wife, Anne, and their daughter, Astrid, as three coffins have been pulled from hearses at Aarhus Cathedral.

As it was assaulted the family had been staying at the Shangri-La Hotel in the capital of Colombo. Sri Lanka officials say over 250 people died on April 21 in the Easter bombings.

Members of the royal household members and Danish Prime Minister Lars Loekke Rasmussen attended the service Saturday.

Holch Povlsen is the sole owner of the Bestseller clothing series, the biggest shareholder of fashion retailer ASOS and the largest landowner in Scotland.
